Edward has a background in law and international development, and worked as Design Team Leader in the Welfare Reform Project before taking his current position as Think Tank Coordinator. Edward has provided legal advice to asylum seekers and homeless young people, volunteered as a lawyer at community legal centres and an outreach legal service for African migrants, and worked as Associate to Justice Hayne of the High Court of Australia. Edward recently completed a Masters in International Development Studies from Oxford University, writing his research thesis on Indigenous education in Guatemala and focused his coursework on development economics.
